ABOUT SELLAND FAMILY RESTAURANTS Selland Family Restaurants (SFR) is a local, family-run group of farm-to-fork focused restaurants. The Maintenance Technician will be in direct support to ownership for the restaurants. They should be reliable and have good repair skills. The Maintenance Technician will multitask between all properties while accomplishing various tasks set forth by ownership. Benefits: • Medical, Dental, Vision • Life, AD&D Insurance and Permanent Disability • Paid Time Off • Paid Sick Leave • Holiday Pay • Discounts at all Selland Family Restaurants Job Description: • Repair appliances inside and outside the restaurants • Painting, minor carpentry, window washing, sprinkler repair and other miscellaneous repairs • Operate hand tools, power tools, garden tools, pressure washers • Hauling and moving furniture and equipment • Frequently required to push/pull/lift items 0-100 lbs • Able to work proficiently and safely on a ladder • Works through seasonal environmental conditions to ensure property appearance as well as performing preventative maintenance tasks • Availability to work in the warehouse and keep inventory of stored items • Ability to communicate with supervisors in person and on the phone • Ability to walk on uneven ground, including mats and steps, freely accessing all areas of the store including the counter/register area, restaurant floor, stock area, kitchen and potential roof access • The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without ‘giving out’ or fatiguing • The ability to quickly move your hands, fingers and wrists in order to make fast, simple, repeated movements • The ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body, arms and legs. To exert maximum muscle force to lift, push pull or carry objects Job Skills & Requirements: • Previous experience as a restaurant maintenance technician or warehouse manager is preferred, or comparable maintenance experience in a similar establishment like a hotel or office building • Open availability for a full time position of 40 hours per week • Must currently maintain a clean driving record and hold a valid driver’s license • Dependable and reliable with strong time management skills • Heightened attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness are a must • Ability to work as both a team member and independently with minimal direction • Exhibit sound judgment and know when to consult others on decisions To apply online, please click here: COME BE A PART OF OUR TEAM!
