The Oakland Turkey Trot is back and we can't put on this charity event, raising impactful funds for Oakland's youth and families without YOU Are you looking for a way to give back on Thanksgiving?The Oakland Turkey Trot is coming up on Thanksgiving morning and we would love to invite you to join us as a volunteer. In partnership with the Mayor's Office, this event raises money to support education in Oakland and raises money and food for the Alameda County Food Bank. Oakland Turkey Trot is entering its 5th year and our goal is to bring Oakland an authentic local experience that is fun, inclusive and promotes healthy living in our community, while raising impactful funds for neighbors in need. We can't put on these charity events without you. WHEN: Thanksgiving Morning from 6:30am-10:30am WHERE: The Pergola at Lake Merritt, 599 El Embarcadero, Oakland , CA 94610 WHAT: Volunteers will help with participant check-in and will help with finish line set-up and race medal and water distribution. Can't help out on Thanksgiving Morning? We also have volunteer opportunities on Tues, Nov 23 for our Launch Party + Packet Pickup and Wed, Nov 24 for our Food Drive + Packet Pickup.
