Spring ISD To Hold Town Halls On Superintendent Search

SPRING, TX — Spring ISD will hold a pair of town hall meetings this week to provide an update and hear feedback on the search for a new superintendent. There will be two meetings, and the public is welcome to attend one or both town halls, the district said. The first meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Randall Reed Center inside the district's Planet Ford Stadium, located at 23802 Cypresswood Drive in Spring. The second meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Spring ISD Family and Community Engagement Center, located at 17125 Ella Blvd. in Houston. The district is searching for a replacement for Rodney Watson, who announced last month he was leaving to accept the deputy executive director position at the Texas Association of School Boards in January.
