Senior dog adopters will get a special adoption kit gift as Muttville is partnering with pet service platform Wag! and smart lock leader August Home, making it easier to care for a new dog while away at work, school, or travelling! With a Pet Caregiver from Wag! and an August smart lock, users can grant pet sitters access to their home through the August app. No more awkward key exchanges or worries about leaving the pup home alone too long. Together, Wag! and August can help ensure convenient and secure pet care while pet parents are away. Adopters will receive a free August Smart Lock Pro + Connect and free Wag! Premium (10% off all Wag! services) until June 2022, with a value of $300! Muttville is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them new homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do. Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable new homes for these dogs. Muttville has its own cage-free facility, housing newly rescued senior dogs while they await to be matched with foster homes.
