Our country is not a Theocracy. Read the First Amendment. Democrats are not murdering anybody. They are giving women the right to decide for themselves, in accordance with their own religious beliefs. As far as the Bible, abortion was only wrong for Jews, as Yahweh was THEIR god. The Old Testament allowed abortion for the Caanites, Elamites, and all the enemies of Israel. The same thing with homosexuality, though there was no word for it, as he Bible only says "do not lay with a man as with a woman", without going into details. The Old Testament also outlawed trimming the beard and dictated what to eat and how to slay an animal, and much, much more such as loving your neighbors, and being kind to strangers and immigrants, and not oppressing women, and prosecuting rapists. Again, this only applied to the Jews, none of Israel's enemies, and certainly not to Christians who came hundreds of years later.
