DELIVERY DRIVER FoodSource Distribution is a small, but growing, family owned business. We are looking to hire a few hard-working, passionate, and punctual delivery driver to transport food to restaurants in the downtown area of San Francisco. Below is a basic introduction to the responsibilities. This position has potential to grow into other opportunities with the company, as we will be growing together. JOB DETAILS: Pay: D.O.E. Location: San Francisco! Business Hours of Operation are Monday-Friday 5:00am to 1:00pm BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: *Customer service with a smile is a must! * Able to drive fast and efficient, yet safely throughout the downtown streets of San Francisco. No major accidents, no misdemeanors or felonies, no alcohol or drug related incidents, no DUIs or Reckless Driving charges. * Follow instructions and delivery routes in keeping with time restrictions * Communicate with supervisors, co-workers and customers * Match merchandise to invoices for accurate deliveries * Maintain vehicle cleanliness and monitor vehicle condition/safety * Obey all rules and laws of the road as stated in the California Drivers handbook REQUIREMENTS: * Spanish speaking is a plus but definitely not mandatory! * MUST know how to check texts and use maps on a smart phone (required) * Clean appearance, non-smoker * Love to please customers * Great attitude, enthusiastic and courteous with ability to work in a fast paced environment, very important. * Valid California Drivers license * Ability to lift up to 70 lbs * Knowledge of San Francisco roads and freeways This is a full time position with a 90 day probationary period. We provide the vehicle and equipment to perform the driving duties.
