The Band Practice Place has clients who need more musicians. Come and video shoot your talent as a preliminary introduction to existing and future client bands. These videos will be available to clients to review. Clients can contact you for a 'meet and greet' and live audition. There is no fee as I offer this service for my clients. Likewise you have the video for your personnel and business use. There is no licensing nor contractual obligations. Arrangements for the video shoots are based upon the open times of the studio when not in use by client bands. So days and times vary accordingly. However once an arrangement is made it is most probably set. You play your backing tracks via BlueTooth on your phone into the recording mixer. Recommend using supplied headphones to reduce noise bleed but the PA system is also available if that's your preference. All amp inputs to the mixer are direct. There are six mics for the six drums and two overhead mics for cymbals to help isolate each drum and cymbal for mixing. All drum and OH mics are from Audix and all go directly into the mixer. There are six Shure Beta 87A condenser mics for any vocal recordings as well. In these cases it is best that all amps are played only through headphones to reduce noise bleeds. Hope to hear from you!
