Join us for a Kokedama plant workshop at the Taproom!
Kokedama (moss ball) is a Japanese art form of living sculpture suspended in air. Very similar to bonsai, the plant and roots of a kokedama are contained in a small space. Its form and preparation represents the Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetic principles, defined as one of beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.”
With guidance from instructor Cathrina Susoev (the Kokedama Mama), participants will learn how to make a kokedama using a variety of beautiful plants and take home the finished product at the end of class. All supplies, as well as instructions for assembly and care, are included.
Each ticket includes all supplies needed to create (and take home!) one Kokedama plant + a flight of cider (4 ciders of your choosing).
