Person Found Dead On 805 Freeway In San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA — A person was found dead Monday morning in the slow lane of the Jacob Dekema (805) Freeway in San Diego. Witnesses reported to the California Highway Patrol some time before 1:30 a.m. that there was a vehicle on the right hand shoulder of the southbound Jacob Dekema Freeway near the Cabrillo (163) Freeway with hazard lights on and indicated the deceased person was in the slow lane directly under the 163. The CHP log does not specify whether the deceased person was a pedestrian and a dispatcher said she did not know. Police are investigating. — City News Service
