Description
PASADENA, CA — A Pasadena landmark is once again inviting guests to explore its beautiful grounds.
The Gamble House, an internationally known masterwork of American arts and crafts architecture, reopened Tuesday for interior tours.
The house and its furnishings were designed by architects Greene & Greene in 1908 for David and Mary Gamble of Procter & Gamble fame. The family deeded the house to the City of Pasadena in 1966.
During the one-hour tour, a guide will lead guests on an exploration of the house and its history through rooms lined with rare woods, featuring handcrafted details, fixtures, and furnishings designed by the architects and unique to the house.
