Description
The original poster left-out SEVERAL important facts, and leaves the reader "inflammed", due to missing information.
Here is the original post:
original post says:
The new law signed by Gov Nuisance banning the SALE of small engines really makes a lot of sense. Puts another nail in the coffin of small businesses in California. It bans the SALE of small engines, but not the USE of small engines, so we can just buy them on Amazon instead of our local hardware store. Yeah, Gavin, send more businesses to Texas!
Here's some important, albeit missing information:
* the new law applies to gasoline-powered leaf-blowers, lawn-mowers, and chainsaws.... all of which make a lot of noise, AND create fossil-fuel pollution.... especially the two-stroke engines, because they burn a mixture of gasoline AND oil.
* many cities (including cities in other states) have already banned the same exact things, for the same exact reasons.(noise AND pollution)
* the governor of California is not named "Nuisance".... not sure if the original poster is trying to be "cute" or just has no business typing in a language which he/she may not be well-versed in.
* California has already set-up $30,000,000 (thirty million dollars) to help legitimate landscaping/gardening businesses transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy.
In conclusion:
~ The folks who won't adapt would be welcomed to go to Texas... they're not regulated (which is the reason for their energy system failure, just months ago.)
~ Let's see how many Texans will welcome those leaf-blowers, early on Saturday mornings.
~ A complete story is much better for the reader, than something inflammatory by someone who is unable to communicate adequately in English.
~ Remember- The game plan is moving AWAY from fossil fuels; and that's the spirit of the law.
~ I hope you've had a Happy Halloween... and PLEASE...no matter WHAT time of year it is:
don't take misinformation from a stranger.
Peace out!
