The main goal of this position is to maintain the facility and grounds in a like-new condition. The purpose of the Janitor role is to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed daily. Serve as the main point of contact for all cleaning projects, modeling a positive service attitude and independently completing shift tasks. Partner with the Operations Manager achieve the following: Ensure the facility and parking lot is clean and free of hazards. Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked. Ensure locker rooms are clean. Ensure all flooring is clean. Ensure equipment is functional and operational Proactively check trash cans, parking lots and rooms for any trash. Complete training for, and maintain appropriate, cleaning equipment. Report and document any product or equipment failure. Provide maintenance and repair of equipment as appropriate. Proactively respond to inquiries and concerns; clearly and positively communicating solutions with exceptional follow through. Report to supervisor or lead person for work duties on schedule. The physical demands and work environment characteristics are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The Janitor is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to climb, stoop, or kneel. The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee occasionally will operate light machinery.
