MALIBU, CA — Sheriff's deputies closed a stretch of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu Saturday morning due as they worked to mitigate a situation involving a possibly armed and suicidal person, officials said. The armed suspect inside a Recreational Vehicle prompted a shutdown around 10 a.m. between Trancas Canyon Road to Morning View Drive, The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's Lost Hill's Station reported. Deputies urged the public to avoid that particular area of PCH, a main thoroughfare through Malibu. Deputies have PCH closed from Trancas to Morning View due to a possibly suicidal person in a RV, possibly armed.
