If this sounds like you, Exchange Bank may be your next great career opportunity! In this role, you will provide facility upkeep and repair services for all branches and departments. Responds to facility related emergency situations and provides assistance and/or guidance to outside service and repair contractors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintenance: 70% -Provide a broad range of furniture, equipment and/or facility installation, repair, and maintenance services including plumbing and electrical services. -Provide immediate response to janitorial and repair emergencies as required. -Provide guidance, direction and assistance to the various vendors that are contracted to perform services and repairs. -Provide on-sight observations and recommendations with regard to the action and vendor requirements necessary to address a facility related service or repair need. -Repair or set-up furniture and equipment. -Pick-up and deliver parts, supplies, equipment, etc. -Answer and respond to Help Desk calls and close them out following issue resolution. Warehouse Operation and Inventory Control: 20% -Take inventory of stock items. -Pack and fill orders. -Move, organize and store inventory of stock items using a forklift and pallet jack. -Select and pack forms including caged pre-numbered official items. -Use automated purchasing software to correctly allocate monies from the warehouse to branches and departments. -Pick up boxes from other locations and return to Warehouse to store. Non-Essential Functions: 10% -Perform special projects and research as assigned. -Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES -None MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: -General knowledge of basic repairs of plumbing, electrical, construction, tile repair, painting, etc. -General knowledge of building construction and maintenance in order to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems related to maintenance and repair. -Skills operating a personal computer including word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software. -Demonstrated ability or technical training related to maintenance and repair functions. Licenses and Certifications: -Must maintain a valid California’s driver license. -Must maintain forklift certification. Physical Requirements: -Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist and turn. -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. -Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator. -Ability to work indoors and outdoors depending on the various job requests. -Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools and various equipment. -Must be able to respond to unplanned emergencies at night or on the weekends. -Must be able to climb ladders. Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma; and knowledge typically gained through a minimum of two years experience in general maintenance.
