A Day of Innovation will call on San Antonio students to solve the public problems plaguing the city through private sector solutions! On November 6th from 11-4 we’ll host “A Day of Innovation” at St. Mary's University! A Day of Innovation will call on students across San Antonio to solve the problems plaguing the city (like affordable housing and transportation woes) through business-focused solutions. Participants will be guided through a full-day problem-solving session by St. Mary’s Professor Kathe Lehman-Meyer and receive coaching from business leaders like Jennifer Newell CEO and Founder of Betty’s Co’ and ‘Karina Villa CEO and Founder of Forward in Fitness. We hope that participants will learn how they can private and public, sectors can work in cadence to solve San Antonio's most vexing problems. Participants will leave feeling empowered and ready to spark change in their communities with the tools and practice needed to innovate for social good!
