Mike Dillon has spent the last three decades performing well over 200 shows a year with both his own band, as well as playing vibraphone and percussion with artists including Les Claypool, Ani DiFranco and Rickie Lee Jones. He’s served as an integral member of bands like Critters Buggin, Garage A Trois, Dead Kenny Gs, Spy Machines and Nolatet (with Brian Haas, also of Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey), and as bandleader of Billy Goat, Hairy Apes BMX and Malachy Papers. Under his own name, he’s amassed an extensive catalog of genre-defying recordings. When the pandemic hit in early 2020 forcing Dillon off the road, he instinctively directed his perpetually restless creative energy to writing and recording. The result is a varied epic trilogy of dynamic albums featuring collaborators that include Matt Chamberlain (legendary studio drummer, currently touring with Brandi Carlile), Steven Bernstein (Sex Mob), Jean-Paul Gaster (Clutch), Nick Bockrath (Cage the Elephant), Tiff Lamson (Givers) and Shane Theriot (Hall & Oates).
