Strange Wild Cat seen in Carmel Creek area 92130

Guys, I wish I had a pic. we're rehearsing @ Altura on Carmel Cr Rd 92130. when a STRANGE wild cat walks by????? obviously NOT a feral, skinny just slightly larger than a house cat. Manx type short tale. with a white end that's bent. ears not remarkable. in seconds it's gone. I've observed Lynx in urban SD, been trailed by Puma in Lagunas. pls comment on this one!
