Think images of film stars of the 1930’s that made Hollywood famous. Glamour Lighting- Secrets of the Stars This meeting will address the use of light to create a mood or an emotion. Think images of film stars of the 1930’s that made Hollywood famous. Jon Campbell will show you how to create images that don’t look like everyone else’s. The lighting techniques we will use can be applied to any type of photography, be it fashion, commercial, portraiture, fine art or food. The secret is not in the equipment you use, but how you use it. We will be using different lighting setups using one, two and more lights as well as different light modifiers to create images that you don’t often see in today’s point and shoot world. We will discuss set up, lighting, background selection, facial analysis, posing and how to work with a model. We will supply the model, so, besides having fun, you will be able to leave this class with high quality images that will enhance your portfolio. We will also provide hand-out materials for future reference. Please bring you SLR camera with a full battery charge. A portrait lens of over 70mm would be nice but not mandatory.
