Pony Education is looking for an organized model coordinator for our upcoming hairdresser education workshop taking place November 7-8. Pay is $500 for a fully booked (14 models each day) event. Free haircuts are easy enough to promote, but we need your help since we are in the Oakland area :) NOTE: the event is 11/7-8 but model recruitment starts immediately! Your responsibilities remote recruitment and organization. You would send people to register at www.ponymodels.com and they need to be well-suited for the event (shoulder-length hair or longer, no tight curls). This hair event is led by Kate Schlichter and Corinna Hernandez. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Promote PONY Education event with the intent to book models Responsible for communicating, booking and confirming all models for PONY event, setting up class days for success. Sourcing and acquiring talent through recruitment efforts Proactively identifying and seeking the best channels from which to source potential clients across all channels. Work with PONY team on social blasts and marketing efforts Scout and discover new models via social media, colleges, like minded companies, stores etc. THIS PERSON SHOULD BE: Must be resourceful, open-minded to find the best means for outreach and recruitment. This role demands constant communication, creativity, and strategic thinking to identify recruits; and generate interest among potential models. Ability to identify potential candidates through networking and assessing qualifications Communicating with models, casting directors and agencies Creatively and aggressively scout new talent Launch successful events without any fire drills, must be a problem solver.
