The Band Practice Place is in-progress of adding stage lighting and video capability for solo musicians wanting to make an audition demo tape for bands and gigs.
Likewise, there are Clients of The Band Practice Place needing musicians to complete their band. Your video demo tape can be instrumental in selecting you for a live audition.
The studio is fully equipped with amps for guitars, bass, and keyboards; eight Audix mics on an acoustic drum kit used by Michael Shrieve of Santana (Woodstock), and six full-range (50Hz to 20kHz) studio quality condenser vocal mics. All vocal and instruments feed directly into a 30-track recording mixer that then feeds directly into the video camera (normally your phone video or the Studio's video camera).
At the end of the session you will have the video recording with direct-in audio. You will also receive the simultaneous 30-track recording which you can mix and master and replace the audio track in your video recording for superb audio. It's all up to you and your purpose for shooting the video/audio recording.
