Skate One has a Maintenance Technician job opportunity. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform maintenance of tools and equipment used in manufacturing; including but not limited to urethane processing machines, wood working tools, pad printing machines, and packaging equipment. * Diagnose equipment failures, identify root cause, and perform needed repairs with minimal supervision. * May assist with modifications to electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. * Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and notify supervisor of spare parts needed. Qualifications and Experience: * Hands on knowledge and experience with commercial/industrial equipment maintenance. * Ability to operate hand and power tools. * Demonstrated critical thinking skills. * Strong working knowledge of electrical principles and use of a multimeter. * Experience with electric motors and associated protection devices. * Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics a plus. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to handle medium to heavy lifting and to stand for long periods of time.
