TOMBALL, TX — Lockdowns have been lifted at Tomball High School and Tomball Junior High School after the high school was given an all-clear by law enforcement, according to a tweet from the City of Tomball.
Tomball High School and Tomball Junior High School were locked down Thursday morning after a bomb threat was called into the high school Thursday morning, according to city officials.
The Tomball Police Department searched the school, focusing on the parking lot and bathrooms, before giving the all clear around 12:30 p.m. During the search, city officials dispelled social media rumors that a device had been found at the school.
The Tomball Police Department received the threat through a 911 call, according to a report from ABC13.
