MONROVIA, CA — Recreation Park may go to the dogs as Monrovia officials are eyeing a new addition to the space.
Before the city builds a dog park in Monrovia, officials want to hear from residents. A community meeting is scheduled for this Saturday to hear resident's thoughts on the idea, officials said.
Despite parks in Monrovia being dog-friendly, the city doesn't have any facilities devoted to them, according to an internet search.
The community meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on the north side of Recreation Park near Lemon Avenue, according to city officials. Call the Monrovia Community Center at 626-256-8246 for more information about the event.
