Join us on a guided sensory journey through the flavors of Central and South American where mezcal and cacao have their roots. Together as we sip and savor, you will discover a deeper appreciation for these sacred elixirs of vitality, connection and craftsmanship. During this experience you will also taste 3 expressions of Tosba Mezcal including a special release crafted for Tahona Bar. Tosba, means "Only One" in Zapotec, because it is the first brand of its kind in the region. Its origins lie in the mountains of Sierra Norte and is produced by cousins Edgar Gonzalez Ramirez and Elisandro Gonzalez Molina. Tosba emphasizes ethics, environmental awareness, and community in their day to day production. Their dedication to the environment shines through practices such as: growing from seed, building agave nurseries, and using sustainable fuel sources to cook agaves. Their dedication to their community is exalted by providing jobs such as labeling and bottling to local people and has a beautiful mission of bringing industry back to their region to benefit coming generations.
