Description
Established Big Band (17 pieces) looking for a fill-in drummer and bassist. Rehearsals held Wednesday evenings in Linda Vista, this band has regular gigs and plays to an audience at least 1x month. Book of over 500 charts is focused mainly on the big band era with original charts by Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, The Dorsey Brothers, Glenn Miller, etc. Many other charts too numerous to list.
If you are looking to cover rent, this is not the organization for you. We are 501c3 non -profit and operate for the cultural benefit of the community at large. Big payoff in satisfaction however.
