Yamato Flight Kitchen Bento Fundraiser benefitting Yu-Ai Kai Yamato Flight Kitchen Bento FundraiserOctober 19, 20 and 21, 2021Supporting Yu-Ai Kai. Supporting our community.NEW to our Bento Fundraising, Yamato Flight Kitchen will prepare an Assorted Bento including Salmon Shio-Yaki, Chicken Karaage, Koya Dofu, Inari Sushi, Edamame, Carrot/Takenoko/Konnyaku Nimono, Kamaboko, Atsuyaki Tamago, Seaweed Salad, Yamato Original Tsukemono with small box of Tawara-shaped Rice.Lunch or Dinner! Drive-thru pick-up times are available at 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 4:00pm and 4:30pm. Please be sure to select the appropriate ticket(s) when ordering. Each 'ticket' is for a lunch or dinner bento pick-up at a SPECIFIC DATE and TIME. Ticket sales begin September 13 and end on October 15 (unless sold out sooner). Quantities are limited so order early!- - -Sponsor a Keiro Bento!- - - This month's bento fundraiser is being combined with our annual Keiro Kai celebration. Bento is being provided for free to all Honorees. If you would like to sponsor a Keiro Bento, you may do so here. Thank you for this extra support!Drive-thru pick-up is at the Yu-Ai Kai building. We will come to your car to confirm your order and load meals. Pick-up times are firm; please arrive during your designated 30-minute time slot. Especially for lunch pick-ups since the time slots immediately follow the regular Nutrition Program lunch pick-up. Please wear a mask - this will help us to keep everyone safe and healthy. Yu-Ai Kai Senior Center, a non-profit organization located in San Jose's historic Japantown, is committed to serving seniors with an array of activities, programs, and services. We offer a senior day care program, a well-balanced nutritious lunch service, social services, and a variety of classes, activities and trips for seniors, all designed to enable healthy aging. Serving our seniors with Friendship & Love since 1974, Yu-Ai Kai currently serves 3,000+ seniors annually. While our roots are in Japanese / Japanese American culture and tradition, the programs and services are open to any senior in our community.
