There's another angle to all this: Making people wear masks and social distance, causes them to become more isolated and afraid of others. When normal American citizens are trained to be afraid and/or suspicious of their fellow Americans, we have a situation where the government can more easily turn people against each other. Divide and conquer is the name of the Democrat game. You're supposed to be busy watching your neighbor and not paying attention to what the government is doing.
