We are seeking much needed volunteer help for our food distribution programs at EBALDC's affordable housing properties in Oakland Chinatown.
Frank G Mar Family Housing at 283 13th Street, Oakland, CA 94612. Monday, September 13th and September 20th from 10am - 11:30am
Volunteer roles will include dividing food/produce into bags and delivering prepped bags to apartment doors on site that have requested food assistance. All volunteers are required to practice physical distancing and wear their own face coverings, gloves will be provided.

We have two community partners for our food distribution program: Mercy Brown Bag Program, supporting seniors in distributing over one million pounds of food per year and the Vietnamese American Community Center of the East Bay, supporting low-income South-East Asians and other underrepresented immigrant communities in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) is a non-profit community development organization with over 40 years of experience in building healthy, vibrant and safe neighborhoods in Oakland and the East Bay. EBALDC develops affordable housing, commercial and mixed-use, mixed-income projects in Oakland and across other cities in the East Bay, including Emeryville, Richmond, and San Pablo.
