PALM SPRINGS -- The Palm Springs Fire Dept. is inviting residents to meet their local firefighters this Saturday as part of an event that commemorates the 20th anniversary of terror attacks that took place in the U.S. on Sept. 11, 2001. The event is scheduled for 8: 30 am to noon and includes special guest speakers, a PSFD honor guard, live music and a food truck. A special ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9:11 am. The location for the event is PSFD Headquarters - Fire Station 2, located at 300 N. Cielo Rd., Palm Springs, 92262.
