A cross dock has large bay doors on both sides of the building. Trucks back into one side of the building, the items are unloaded and broken down into smaller shipments and transported to the other side of the building to be loaded on to the waiting trucks. Logistics Guard - As Warehouse Drivers pull up, the Logistics Guards must request all paperwork and delivery number for load. Job Requirements: Must wear steel boots Previous warehouse and logistics experience (2-6 months) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to use ladder, hand truck, and dolly Requires lifting/lowering of 3-30 lbs., pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures For your safety, full COVID-19 procedures in effect daily.
