Unusual Rock Band Looking For Bass Player

Sports fans, We're a somewhat unusual rock band, loving a variety of sounds from insane intensity to quiet beauty. Influences range from noisier punk rock like Flipper/SonicYouth to Radiohead to Jeff Beck to Miles Davis. Our bass player of several years has recently left the band for health reasons so we are looking for a replacement. In addition to recording we hope to get back to playing club shows with other interesting Bay Area bands which we were doing pre-pandemic. Other miscellaneous information: we're older (57-61) life-long musicians and put some effort into this, doing what we can to avoid mediocrity (which is non-trivial): I would say we treat it as a serious hobby. We would like our music to get stranger as we get older. We are understated/friendly/reliable with zero drama, and prefer long-term members. We are all fully vaccinated and expect the same from you.
