Musician to make music with

Hi All My jamming buddy Tess is moving to New Orleans and am looking to find other musicians to make music with. I am a pretty scrappy acoustic guitarist/singer (if you say "what key is that in" you might get a blank stare back) - I can knock out a bunch of Pogues/Irish songs, have written about 10 songs I am pleased with, and can play (my version) of a few classics (The Weight, Wuthering Heights!). If you know Fat White Family, Moonbathers accoustic set, I can play a lot of those songs. Am open to exploring new stuff for sure and am not set in any sort of schedule agenda, but what worked with me and Tess was playing once every 1/2 months alternating at each other's houses. She would play a few of hers, I would play a few of mine, accompanying each other and we had a few songs we both knew well and would play and sing together. Be great to write new music with someone. Into creativity. For a while I never played other peoples songs, believing that true creativity is really writing an playing your own stuff. Have softened up on that, like playing covers now, but part of me still thinks song writing is the purest. I like all sorts - my formative years were 70's/80's punk and new wave. Still love the idea of perfect 3 min pop songs. If this sounds good - drop me a line. I am 57, male from UK, live in SF.
