FOUND SMALL BLACK AND WHITE UNEUTERED MALE DOG

FOUND LITTLE BLACK AND WHITE BOY DOG GREENBACK LANE AND CRATER WAY ACROSS FROM SAFEWAY. I just found this dog crossing greenback lane from crater way in citrus heights (diablo and greenback lane by the Safeway) the poor thing almost got hit by 3 cars on one side of greenback and 2 on the other....I couldn't just leave him....if anyone knows this dog or has any ideas of how I can find his owner please leave a comment. He doesn't have a collar not sure if he is chipped...he seems scared but is getting along well with my big girl dog. but I cannot keep him overnight and I think I may have gotten in over my head a bit. any help or suggestions are very much appreciated!!
