CBD Expo/Extraction Expo is coming to Los Angeles! Your chance to be a part of this great show. You will learn ALOT, meet new people, and go home with free samples. This is a contract position for a one-weekend event. *Must be available both days.* The show runs: Friday 9/30/2021 8am-5pm Saturday 10/01/2021 8am-3 pm at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton Call time for this position will be 30 min. before the start of show time the first day, and can be expected to run up to an hour past show time each day. Pay: $100/day Days: 2 Total Contract: $200 Dress: Casual; Black Shirt with Jeans or Pants. No Ripped Jeans We have a few positions for the Event: (3) Mic Runner/Door Check Personnel (1) Exhibit Hall Door Check Personnel (1) Speaker Relations Personnel (1) Event Registration Personnel - Mic Runner Personnel Responsibilities: Run mics for speakers in panel room discussions Go into the audience with mic to amplify audience questions Sanitize mic in between each question with a disinfectant wipe Maintain a cadence of questions and answers by being attentive to the audience and prepared to run to the questioner as soon as they have been called upon Check credentials at door Position Requirements: Ability to be on feet for long hours Ability to balance respect for personal space and social distancing while effectively running mic and amplifying audience questions Knowledge of sound systems and A/V technology Event Experience a plus Professionalism in appearance Excellent customer service Compliance with COVID-19 safety precautions an absolute must No known COVID-19 exposure or positive tests that have not been cleared by a physician No COVID-19 symptoms for the past week prior to the event See this link for the Ten Commandments of Microphone Runners at a Panel Discussion: - Door Check Personnel Responsibilities: Administer touch-free temperature checks to patrons before allowing entrance to the event, and sanitize device in between each patron Check the credentials (badge) of each patron and regulate entrance accordingly Maintain respectful, polite, and willing to problem solve if conflict arises Maintain a social distance of patrons as they wait in lines to have their credentials checked Position Requirements: Customer service excellence Ability to be on feet for long hours Event Experience a plus Professionalism in appearance Compliance with COVID-19 safety precautions an absolute must No known COVID-19 exposure or positive tests that have not been cleared by a physician No COVID-19 symptoms for the past week prior to the event Please note: this is not a security position. - Registration Personnel Responsibilities: Registering attendees Sanitizing check in devices Check the credentials (badge) of each patron and regulate entrance accordingly Assisting attendees if they have questions Maintain respectful, polite, and willing to problem solve if conflict arises Maintain a social distance of patrons as they wait in lines to have their credentials checked Position Requirements: Need to have experience in Mac, Ipad, PC Customer service excellence Event Experience a plus Professionalism in appearance Compliance with COVID-19 safety precautions an absolute must No known COVID-19 exposure or positive tests that have not been cleared by a physician No COVID-19 symptoms for the past week prior to the event Ability to be on feet for long hours - Speaker Relations Personnel Responsibilities: - Assisting the speaker coordinator on calling, texting, and emailing the scheduled speakers to confirm they will be speaking during their scheduled time and date - Directing the speakers on where to go and what room they will be speaking in - Directing the speakers to the "green room" 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time - Making announcements to the speakers - Assisting the speaker coordinator on anything they might need - Maintain respectful, polite, and willing to problem solve if conflict arises Position Requirements: - Need to have excellent communication skills - Must have great customer service - Event Experience a plus - Professionalism in appearance - Compliance with COVID-19 safety precautions is an absolute must - No known COVID-19 exposure or positive tests that have not been cleared by a physician - No COVID-19 symptoms for the past week prior to the event - Ability to be on feet for long hours - Ability to work in a fast pace environment *No smoking or cannabis use while working Schedule your Interview here:
