Description
PASADENA, CA — The number of students and staff members in the Pasadena Unified School District who go into quarantine following possible exposure to COVID-19 will no longer be reported, according to the Pasadena Star-News.
The numbers will no longer be a part of the district's online dashboard following issues with collecting data that accurately reflect the virus's impact on schools.
Elizabeth Blanco, the district's chief academic officer, told the Star-News that students would go into quarantine after being in contact with people not associated with the district or have students be kept home from school without getting tested for the virus.
"We want to make sure that what we're putting on the internet is accurate," Blanco told the paper.
