Press release from the Los Angeles Police Department: August 20, 2021 Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department's West Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in Arlington Heights. On Friday, August 20, 2021, around 7:50 a.m., Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire officers responded to a call of a shooting near the 1100 block of South Bronson Avenue. Officers located anadult victim who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The name of the victim is being withheld pending family notification. Anyone with additional information is urged to call West Bureau Homicide investigators at 213-382-9470. During non-business hours, or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (1-877-527-3247). Anyone wishing to remain anonymous should call the L.A.
