I am classical and jazz trained, got the electronic music bug, jumped into EDM, formed an electronic/organic collective called LA Jazz Underground, and now find myself composing and producing. In my humble opinion, the most creative and well produced music is coming out of Japan. I compose, arrange, write halfway decent melodies, mix, but can’t write a lyric to save my life. Current influences – Daoko, Capsule/ Nakata Yasutaka, Perfume, Tokyo Jihen, Xai, Mondo Grosso, Clean Tears, Cherry Nhy, K/DA and a small handful of KPop artists, lots of anime and video game music, Progressive House, Trap, Future Bass.
