Everybody meet Doug. I’m guessing he’s 25-30 years old male Sulcata tortoise. Very friendly fella, I’ve taken care of him for the last 5 years or so but I’m moving soon and will no longer have a yard for him to roam. New owner must provide proof of adequate living conditions and ability to take care of my friend here. I am not asking for anything in exchange but I need to ensure new owner is prepared to adequately provide the best home possible for him. He is yard destructive, needs a proper enclosure, eats like a horse, and will burrow if opportunity exists. Please be prepared to have done the research necessary and provide pictures of where you intend to take care of him before we can have any real conversation. Not to be rude, I just gotta make sure my friend here goes to the best home possible. He is a big responsibility.
