Position: COVID-19 Festival Entry Screener Hours: As needed; generally weekends Compensation: $17/Hourly Location: Napa Reports To: Entry Screening Team Lead SUMMARY World Back to Work, a full-service Covid Consulting Firm, is looking for a number of music loving, physically imposing entry screeners to work on-site at our music festival client locations in Napa STARTING THIS SATURDAY, SEPT 14 and SEPT 15 and subsequent weekends. NOTE: YOU MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED TO TAKE THIS ROLE This is a great chance for a helpful role helping get things back to our new normal as we begin to gather again safely! Entry screeners are tasked with making sure all festival goers demonstrate their vaccination status or recent negative COVID test and to check that their IDs match their documents. Our client uses a system that allows guests to upload their proof documents prior to showing up, so you'll be relying mostly on that system (where festival goers show their status by holding up their mobile phones). For guests who have not used the software, you'll check their paper documents. If documents don't match, you have to have the confidence to turn them away or escalate to a supervisor nearby. You'll be trained this week and your shifts will be: Saturday, September 14 - 2:30pm - 10pm Sunday, September 15 - 3:30pm - 9pm You will be expected to generate a positive experience for all festivalgoers and will be an integral part of keeping everyone safe while enjoying gatherings once again! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assist festivalgoers through the COVID entry screening protocols. Inform festivalgoers who are unaware of the required protocols what they are and the fact that they are required for entry, without exception. Turn away noncompliant visitors whose proof is incomplete or fraudulent. Escalate to a supervisor if any guest is unwilling to comply. Learn the answers to Frequently Asked Questions so as to be and appear informed and authoritative in your answers. Notify your supervisor of any issues or concerns before they become a crisis. Physical Requirements Must be fully vaccinated and be able to prove it by sending us your materials prior to selection for the role. Ability to stand/walk a minimum of four (4) hours per day. Ability to keep guests calm when having to turn them away for noncompliance. Show up 15 minutes before your scheduled start date to get your T-Shirt uniform and PPE (mask). APPLICATION LINK :
