ABOUT HAMILTON LOOMIS “If blues, soul, and rock can be said to form a triangle, you’ll find Hamilton Loomis right in the center of it”, says Guitar Player Magazine. An apt description, as young Loomis is one of the young artists at the forefront of bringing blues based American music into the 21st century and redefining it for a contemporary audience. Spanning youth and tradition, Loomis bridges the gap between generations of music-lovers both in the U.S. and around the world. www.hamiltonloomis.com https://soundcloud.com/hamloomis/sets/this-season-sampler MEET BO JORDAN LOOMIS Congenital Hyperinsulinism (HI) is a rare disease that causes extreme low blood sugar.  If not diagnosed early, it can cause brain damage or even death.  In 2015, when Hamilton's son Bo Jordan Loomis was 17 months old, he was diagnosed with the life-threatening condition, and despite being non-verbal and having learning disabilities, he is responding well to treatment.  Many other HI kids are not so fortunate. Hamilton Loomis dedicates Basics' opening track, “Sugar Baby,” to Congenital Hyperinsulinism International (CHI), a non-profit organization that heads research on the disease, educates doctors and hospitals, and supports and aids families affected by the disease.  “They call HI kids 'sugar babies,' so I wanted to write a song in appreciation for all they do for families all over the world,” Loomis says.  To learn more about CHI, or to donate, please visit www.congenitalhi.org. ABOUT THE CHARITY CHI is a leading nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults living with Congenital Hyperinsulinism (HI). CHI provides a world of information, resources, and support to the HI community.  CHI advocates on behalf of patients for better treatments and access to care.  CHI is dedicated to increasing awareness of the disorder as it leads to more timely diagnosis and the best outcomes for patients.  CHI supports medical research for improved therapies, potential cures, and timely diagnosis.  CHI works globally because we are stronger as an international community.  Cooperation across borders fosters important advances in medicine. HI is a life-threatening disorder that causes dangerously low blood sugar levels.   Prolonged or severe low blood sugar can cause seizures, brain damage, and even death. We hope you will partner with us to prevent damage and death, search for better treatments, and improve the quality of life for all HI patients.   Pearland House Concerts merges LIVE music with philanthropy.  The PHC Stage hosts LIVE Concerts with talented bands and artists including GRAMMY winning songwriters. Each event includes dinner and our outdoor covered venue has ample seating for an up close and sensational LIVE event. Events are BYOB. PHC exist to encourage a spirit of generosity that extends beyond altruism.  We do this by connecting the community with local causes through LIVE music concerts featuring talented bands and artists. Each event provides a unique artist and audience connection, and all the proceeds support local charities. Pearland House Concerts is supported by the City of Pearland Cultural Arts Grant program from the City of Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau.
