The Outside Metal Buyer & Waste Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, grading and using the established pricing structure to secure metal and waste accounts. The position is responsible for managing accounts and relationships in the region to generate metal and waste purchases, conducting site inspection, and drafting reports. HS diploma or equivalent; At least two years of sales or materials purchasing experience; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; Must be detail-oriented; Professional in person and telephone demeanor; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers; Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously; Reliable transportation; and Must be onsite three days each week for training and education. At least five years of metal grading and sorting experience Must have valid Class C driver’s license.
