Hello, Do you love to boogie woogie? Our local band "Brian Jones RocknRoll Revival" is seeking a new piano slayer. We are a 9 piece RocknRoll group (ages 28-48) playing original music and classic rock tunes from 1969, ala The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Led Zeppelin, Muddy Waters & more... We are a RocknRoll Revival band because we honor the music and spirit of the 1969 "27 Club" of Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones, Pig Pen, Robert Johnson and their musical influences. PIANO is CENTRAL to the RocknRoll sound. The band is comprised of 2 female backup singers, a sax, a harmonica, bass, lead guitar, drums and rhythm guitar/lead singer and YOU making up 9 person band. www.brianjonesrocknroll.com I've attached a few set lists and show posters for your viewing pleasure. We've been together since 2016. We gig once or twice per month. Since 2017, we've released 3 full length studio albums all with major piano parts. We are all professionally trained, professional players, with no drug or alcohol troubles, and minimal egos. We are a happy crew of magical music makers. We split our gig money, most often making btwn $600-$1200 per show. We have a regular monthly residency at Humphrey's Backstage, and we play all over San Diego at choice venues on mostly Thursday, Friday, Sat and Sundays. We rehearse on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at San Diego RocknRoll Studios.
