Sweet Cadet arrived from a shelter in Hawaii one week ago and is officially up for adoption through Diamond's Friends! She's spent the last week in foster care so that we can learn more about her, and her foster mom has only had wonderful things to say about her. Cadet is great with other dogs (she's currently living with a 15-20lbs terrier mix), is wonderful in her crate (she doesn't make a peep), walks well on a leash, is good with kids, and is extremely gentle. She's mastering the art of potty training, already knows how to sit, and hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding. She would prefer a home without cats (they seem to scare her a bit). She'd also really like a home that will let her hang out on the couch and watch TV. While she's not overly energetic, a backyard or a family who is willing to take her on long walks would be a plus too so she can stretch her legs. Cadet is a hound/Pointer mix weighing in at 51lbs. She's an amazing, special girl and will make an easy addition to just about any family.
