Futures in Finance day is an annual career fair hosted at California Polytechnic University bringing in on average 300 students annually. Futures in Finance Day is Cal Poly's Financial Management Association’s annual industry-specific career fair. FFD connects ALL students from Orfalea College of Business to recruiters from across a variety of Finance industries based on student preferences and interests. This year, we surveyed over 50 students on which companies to bring, and used that data to formulate the most attractive career fair to increase attendance. On average, 300 students attend to provide recruiters with opportunities to fill summer internships and full-time positions with the nation's best business students. We have collaborated with Cal Poly FinTech, Real Estate, Investment Banking, and more to create a more holistic career fair and improve our existing event in more creative ways. This year, we are offering a two-day HYBRID event from: 11-2PM virtually on October 14th 11-4PM in-person on October 15th at the Multi-Activity Center (MAC)
