seeking male models to photograph as drawing sources

Serious, professional artist working in a classical, realistic style on classical subjects (among others) seeks male models to photograph so as to draw the results. I am a member of City Art, a cooperative gallery on Valencia Street in San Francisco, and have also shown my work in L.A., Toronto, and Seattle. No need to be a professional or experienced model; I’m good at giving direction. Faces come first. Please send at least a clear face picture so I can see if I might make a successful drawing of you. I’m interested in a variety of “types” and ages, as long as they are height and weight proportionate. All photos taken during the modeling session are kept private; I never exhibit or circulate them in any way. You will receive a copy of the photos. You can either bring a flash drive to transfer them to or let me edit, crop and send them to you. You of course may use them as you wish. We can meet here at my home or I can travel to you. There is no financial compensation, but in addition to copies of the photos, if I use your image in a large drawing, you will eventually receive a small signed portrait of yourself. I’m also happy to share my work in studio visits; the drawings are very different in real life. If you are comfortable with this and want to support the arts, please contact me. Who knows?
