Description
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — At least three people were hurt Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 62 in Desert Hot Springs in which one of the involved SUVs caught fire.
The crash was reported just before 10:30 a.m. in the southbound direction at the Pierson Boulevard intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic information page.
Witnesses reported three people were injured, though additional information was not provided.
Firefighters were summoned to extinguish a Chevrolet Suburban that caught fire and became "fully engulfed," the CHP reported.
