RIS manages a portfolio of more than 100 residential properties in Central Texas. We are looking to fill an on Staff, in house- Technician/ Handyman to join our team. This will be a full-time position. The majority of this work will be in Central Texas concentrated in Killeen, Temple, Ft Hood- Bell County areas. Job Duties/Requirements: -Previous Experience as a painter and/or carpet installer will be a big plus, as we also have a lot of paint/carpet installation work. -General Handyman work -Rental Property Tenant Repairs Inspect Properties after Contractors Have Completed Work -Appliance Installation (Including Hot Water Heaters) -Mowing/Landscaping **We interact with tenants on a regular basis, it is important that the candidate is comfortable and dressed to interact with tenants professionally. ****Additional Duties may include property maintenance, power washing, junk removal, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs often and work in extreme weather. Also must be able to use our companies mobile phone app to check-in and submit pictures daily (Android or Iphone) Will need to provide own transportation. Ideally will be able to haul/transport equipment (including mower, mulch, weed eater, edger, etc.) Preferably a truck. Will reimburse for mileage at $.50/mile. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00-$20.00 per hour
