Temple TX My father was given a pup and was told he was pyrenees and Anatolian. When he was little, we couldn’t really tell. As the male grew, he showed to be mixed with lab or some other type dog. Still my dad gave him a chance. Unfortunately “Chico” (8 months) had taken to playing and killing my dad’s chickens. My dad has tried to correct him of this behavior but it has unfortunately taught another pup (3 month old female) to do the same. Now he is having to rehome the two. My dad has been fortunate enough to have the best working farm gaurd-dogs on his land. However we feel rehoming them to homes with no poultry would be best. Between the both of them, they’ve already killed many of chickens. Would make great family pets or farm dogs. (Correction, farms without chickens.)
