Description

Bike Build 2021 - FFB We invite you to join First Financial Bank, and Pro Players Foundation Bike Build event, Monday, October 11th. We will be building bikes for the children of Child Care Associates, a nonprofit organization that assists family success through excellence in comprehensive early education and development services. Sponsor 5, 10, 25, or 50 bikes from one of our ticket options and bring your family or the team from your office to help us build them for these kids in need. Please lend your bike building skills to the effort as we work together to assemble bikes starting at 8:30 am. We'll also need help from volunteers with loading/unloading the bikes and checking for quality control once the bikes are built. Breakfast will be served! Following the build, the FFB team, with all other volunteers, will take a group photo with the newly built bikes! An opportunity to participate in the gifting of the bikes during the Holidays. “Enriching the lives of children in need across North Texas” Through our programs, Pro Players Foundation provides youth across North Texas assistance to overcome dire needs and opportunities for future success with the help of our corporate sponsors, professional sports teams partners, advisory board, and an army of community volunteers. Programs Include: KIN Kids in Need (KIN) works with our nonprofit partner organizations in the community to identify individual families that are in need due to dire circumstances, and connects them to the North Texas community to provide immediate assistance. Big Bike Build program promotes the physical and mental development of youth through the donation of bikes, built by our corporate partners and community supporters. Gameplan is a program designed to help bridge the digital divide by creating technology-enriched educational centers. Instant RePlay creates safe places for youth in the community by building new playgrounds, courts, and sports facilities at partnering community centers, which help increase enrollment in these centers educational and mentoring programs. Play It Forward is a program that collects, rejuvenates, and donates sporting equipment to youth in need, ensuring every child in North Texas has the chance to “get in the game.” Through our partnerships with the nonprofit organizations we benefit, such as Boys & Girls Club of America, our projects serve kids who are: socioeconomically disadvantaged, victims of abuse, victims of catastrophic illness or injury, victims of human trafficking, physically disabled, and/ or mentally challenged.
