Good People - I'm an experienced, vaccinated, 60 year old guitar player looking to play with other musicians or join (or form) a group, with the intention of....making music. I know plenty tunes from my era, such as Beatles, Stones, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Dylan, Tom Petty, 60's 70's rock (probably 80's too) R and B, soul, Motown, blues, open tuning slide and originals too. I really enjoy and can play a wide variety of styles. Both lead and rhythm. I can sing too. Not great range, but try to hit the notes and stay on key. I'm newer to jazz, and can play jazz standards (lead sheet please) and solo and improvise on tunes. I have a somewhat flexible schedule, including daytime. Located in San Francisco. I play a Fender Strat, and have other guitars if needed. What tunes would we play? I could probably suggest 3 -5 intial tunes, depending on genre/style. Open to your suggestions as well. Sorry, no links or music samples to send you. (a little old school that way.) Happy to meet up and play with/for you which, we'd have to do anyway. So, let me know what you have in mind, and we'll go from there.
